I get inspirations from many different sources… colors, shapes, window displays, fabric, pattern paper, nature, magazines, other artists, dreams, etc.
Mostly, I get inspired by the wonderful beings I had the opportunity to scrap.
Some are my best dear friends, some are family, and some were “strangers” that have become all the above through the process of the books creation.
I had such privilege and joy to be their story teller, and in some cases, their photographer or their “favorite paparazzi” as so many call me..
What a wonderful gift to be able to help each one of them to treasure the awesome memories of their lives forever in such an unique way .
I am filled with gratitude for each and every one of these beings. You may experience these feelings as you go through the photos of their albums. They surely did feel all the tender loving care of countless days..months ..I have put into each book. The reaction of each one of them as they went through their scrapbook was priceless!
I have scrapped kids, family, nature, pets, and all kinds of events.
Here I do show my appreciation to all the “characters” , but I would not be fair if I did not mention two very special ones…Duncan and Parker.
They are the beautiful English Setters you will see in the dog albums. Their unconditional love and pure bliss captured in their photos, not only touched me deeply, but have also open many unknown doors of creativity from within myself. From that point there was no telling what I would create next.
Here are also cheers to the wonderful instructions of the great scrapbook and stamp stores in my area, and the so many instructors that visit us from other cities. They patiently share wisdom and ideas. Some of my scrapbook pages were inspired and created with the techniques they pass along constantly.
These stores are home away from home for me. We learn and exchange , but mostly we make bonds of friendships and sisterhood.
